The points program rewards meaningful contributions that make Spicy Friends more useful for the community. Points belong to your profile and can be redeemed for supporter time once your available balance reaches the current threshold.
How points are earned
You can earn points from community-positive activity such as receiving meaningful engagement on posts, publishing approved media, writing reviews, creating rendezvous, and referring members who verify their email.
Some awards require another member's legitimate engagement or admin approval. Limits may apply by day, month, resource, or actor to reduce duplicate or low-value activity.
What does not earn points
Private messages, raw page views, profile likes, repeated edits, duplicate content, spammy activity, and actions from blocked, suspended, deleted, or automated profiles do not earn points.
When points can be reversed
Point awards are tracked in an audit ledger. If the content or engagement that earned points is deleted, removed by moderation, identified as duplicate content, or becomes ineligible, Spicy Friends may add a negative reversal transaction.
Reversals can apply to deleted media, deleted reviews, deleted posts, deleted comments, spam cleanup, duplicate detection, and moderation rejection. Historical transactions remain visible for auditability.
If points have already been redeemed, a reversal can make the available balance negative. Future earnings will offset that balance before new redemptions become available.
Redeeming points
When your profile reaches the current supporter-month threshold, you can redeem points from the Points page for 30 days of supporter status. If you are already a supporter, the 30 days are added after your current supporter expiry when applicable.
The redemption threshold is configurable and may change before launch.
Admin adjustments and abuse policy
Admins can add positive or negative point adjustments with a required audit note. Admin adjustments may be used for support corrections, abuse cleanup, or cases that cannot be inferred automatically from content deletion.
FAQ
Do points replace supporter payments?
No. Points redemption is separate from supporter payment checkout.
Can deleted content remove supporter time I already redeemed?
Normal deletes do not automatically claw back already-granted supporter time. Abuse cases may be handled manually by admins.
Where can I see my points?
Visit the Points page from your account membership area to view your balance, redemption progress, and recent point history.
