At Spicy Friends, we take your privacy and security seriously. To ensure the authenticity and safety of our platform, we have implemented a verification process. This process helps us maintain a trustworthy environment for everyone.
How we collect and retain verification videos, face photographs, and related notes is described in our Privacy Policy (Section 1.3).
Since Spicy Friends offers free membership, we've created this verification system to protect our community from fake profiles and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all members.
Ways To Get Verified
To become verified on Spicy Friends, choose one of these methods:
1. Verification by Other Members
Any verified member on our site has the ability to verify other members. You need a minimum of 2 verified members to confirm:
- They know you in person
- The information on your profile is correct
- They confirm you are older than 18 years of age.
2. Video Verification
If you're new to the Lifestyle or don't know any members on our site, you can verify your profile with a short video.
Prerequisites:
- You must have a profile photo set (your faces can be hidden on the profile photo)
- Your account must have face photos of yourselves uploaded to at least a private album
Verification Steps:

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Verification Request". Do not attach the video file (or any other media) to this email. Email is only for the request. We will reply with a unique challenge code. Use that exact code in your video. You have 24 hours from when we send you the challenge code to complete the process.

Record a video of yourself holding a sign. Keep it to 15 seconds or less.
The sign must clearly show:
- Your profile name
- The challenge code from support
In the video you must:
- Say your profile name and the challenge code out loud
- Keep your faces clearly visible (no masks, sunglasses, or heavy covering)
- Move around — walk, turn, or step side to side. Do not stand still for the whole clip
- For couple profiles, both members must appear in the video
- Record directly with your phone or camera — no filters, beauty modes, overlays, or screen recordings

Upload the video to an album on your profile. A private album is recommended so only you and the admin team can see it, but you may use any album you prefer.

Reply to the same email thread to let us know the upload is ready (include your profile name). Do not attach the video file. Our admin team reviews verification videos in-product on your profile. If all is in order, they will verify your profile.
Only the admin team reviews verification videos. After you are verified, you can delete the video if you want.
3. Admin Team Verification
Meet our admin team members at in-person events. We will regularly post announcements about where we'll be. Our team can verify your profile after meeting you in person.
