Effective Date: September 21, 2026
Welcome to Spicy Friends. We are a community built around open-mindedness, connection, and consent. This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") is part of the Terms of Use. By using Spicy Friends, you agree to this AUP.
1. Community respect
- Consent is required. All interactions must be consensual. Obtain clear, enthusiastic consent before engaging in activity or conversation of a sexual or intimate nature.
- Respect boundaries. Do not pressure or coerce anyone. Stop when asked.
- Be kind. Treat members with respect. Constructive disagreement is fine. Bullying and harassment are not.
2. Age
You must be at least 18 years old, and of legal age in your location to view sexually explicit material, to create an account or use the Service. Never upload a picture, video, audio, or other material that depicts anyone under 18. Never promote sexual activity with a minor.
3. Content that is never allowed
Do not post, upload, message, list, or link to any of the following:
- Child sexual abuse material or any sexual or nude depiction of a minor, whether real or generated.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (including "revenge pornography") and unauthorized sexually explicit deepfakes or other synthetic likenesses.
- Sex trafficking, exploitation, or content that recruits, advertises, or facilitates it.
- Commercial sex. Do not advertise, offer, or solicit prostitution, escorting, or sex in exchange for money, goods, or other value. Lawful event, place, group, publication, Vendor Market, or rendezvous listings (for example venue information, lifestyle goods, services, or social meetups) are not, by themselves, commercial sex, but you must not use them to solicit sex for value.
- Sexual content involving animals (including bestiality), or real death, snuff, or necrophilia. Strictly non-sexual intellectual discussion of a news or legal topic is not the same as posting that material.
- Hate speech, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or other discrimination targeting a protected characteristic.
- Harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, or impersonation.
- Defamatory accusations of crime against another member in a public area of the Service.
- Copyright- or trademark-infringing material, or material that violates personality or publicity rights.
- Personal information about another person (name, address, workplace, phone, email, or other identifying details) without their consent.
- Another member’s Content copied off Spicy Friends without that person’s express permission.
- Private messages, verification media, or other non-public Content republished in a public area of the Service without the involved persons’ consent.
- Weapons, explosives, controlled substances, counterfeit or stolen goods, non-existent goods, or unregistered securities offered for sale, and any item you do not have the legal right to sell.
- Anything else that is illegal where you are or where we operate.
If you upload a sexually explicit synthetic likeness of a real person, you must have that person’s consent as required by the Terms of Use, and you must label it as synthetic or AI-generated where the Service provides a label. Do not present a synthetic likeness of a real person as a real recording of them.
"Appropriate for our community" still means adult content may be explicit if it is lawful, consensual, and 18+. Explicit is not the same as prohibited.
4. User conduct
- Honest listings. If you create a Vendor Market listing, do not misrepresent the business, goods, services, events, or other offerings. You—not Spicy Friends—are the seller or service provider. Members who contact you or transact with you do so at their own risk, as described in the Terms of Use (Section 13.1).
- Place listings. If you create a Place listing, do not imply that you own or operate the location, or that the listing is official, unless you have that authority. Do not knowingly misrepresent the location. Creating a listing does not make you the venue. Members who rely on or visit a listed location do so at their own risk, as described in the Terms of Use (Section 13.2).
- No spam. Do not send unsolicited advertisements, repetitive messages, or excessive self-promotion. Do not use published Vendor Market or Place contact details to spam members.
- No scraping or harvesting of member data.
- No journalism, academic research, or corporate research about members without our prior written consent and, where required, the members’ consent.
- No malware or other attempts to interfere with the Service, accounts, or other members’ devices.
- No bots or other automated means to create accounts or to use the Service except as we expressly allow.
- No reverse engineering or bypassing security or access controls, except to the extent that prohibition is not permitted by law.
- No hotlinking. Do not use the Service as a remote host or content-delivery source for other websites.
- No ban evasion. Do not create a new account, or use another person’s account, to evade a suspension, ban, or other enforcement action.
- Honest payments and orders. Do not use stolen funds or payment credentials, place fraudulent orders, manipulate promotions, resell unlawfully, or make knowingly false disputes to obtain merchandise or retain Supporter access. Follow payment and return instructions, including reference messages. Misusing refund, return, reversal, or chargeback processes may result in loss of access and other enforcement.
- Account security. You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Report unauthorized use immediately.
5. How to report
Use in-app reporting where it is available. Route issues as follows; procedures, timing, depicted-person requests, and appeals are in Content Complaints and Appeals:
| Issue | Where to send it |
|---|---|
| Child sexual abuse material, a member who appears under 18, non-consensual intimate imagery, unauthorized deepfakes, trafficking, or commercial sex | In-app report and [email protected] |
| Copyright | Complete notice to [email protected] as described in Copyright Complaints |
| Other AUP or Terms violations | In-app report or [email protected] |
Do not download, copy, or email suspected child sexual abuse material. Send a URL and a description instead.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may monitor User Content and may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts for violations. We do not promise to inspect every communication or detect every violation.
We review reports under the Content Complaints and Appeals process. We are not your mediator. Member-to-member disputes should use block and report tools.
Automated screening can miss violations or flag lawful Content. It is not a warranty that the Service is safe or that remaining Content is allowed.
7. Changes
We may modify this AUP by posting an updated version and updating the effective date and policy_version. For significant changes that require a new acknowledgement, we also update min_acceptance_version and will use reasonable efforts to notify you (including requiring re-acceptance before you continue). Minor updates bump policy_version only. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised AUP, except where the law requires a different method of consent (including where we require a new acknowledgement).
