Content Complaints and Appeals

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

© 2026 Spicy Friends Ltd.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy. It covers suspected illegal content, non-consensual intimate imagery, unauthorized explicit synthetic media, trafficking, underage content, and requests from a person depicted in content.

Copyright claims follow the separate Copyright Complaints process.

1. Emergency and child-safety reports

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Report suspected child sexual abuse material, apparent minors, trafficking, or urgent non-consensual intimate imagery through the in-app report tool and [email protected]. You may also report to Cybertip.ca and, where the United States is involved, NCMEC.

Do not download, copy, or email suspected child sexual abuse material. Send the page or profile URL and a description instead.

If we obtain actual knowledge of apparent child sexual abuse material, we will report it to Cybertip.ca and to any other authority or clearinghouse the law requires of us (including NCMEC where United States provider-reporting duties apply). We will preserve related records as required by law. That company reporting duty does not mean you should send us the material.

2. What to include

Provide as much of the following as is safely available:

  • your name and a reliable email address;
  • the exact URL, profile name, message, or other identifier;
  • the type of concern and why you believe the content violates law or policy;
  • whether you are depicted in the content;
  • whether consent was never given, was limited, or has become legally invalid;
  • any immediate safety concern; and
  • a statement that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Do not send government identification or intimate media by ordinary email. If identity confirmation is reasonably needed, we will provide a safer process and request only what is proportionate.

Anonymous reports may be submitted through available in-app tools. Missing information can limit our ability to investigate.

3. Review and timing

We prioritize reports based on apparent severity and safety risk. We aim to review and resolve a complete report of content that may be illegal or violate card-network adult-content standards within seven business days.

Where we take an enforcement action based primarily on automated screening, a person on our team reviews the action when reasonably practicable.

We may immediately restrict access while reviewing. If review produces evidence of illegal content, child sexual abuse material, trafficking, or non-consensual intimate imagery, we will remove or restrict it immediately and take preservation or reporting steps required by law.

Resolution may include removal, restriction, account action, preservation, a request for more information, referral to another reporting path, or a finding that the available evidence does not establish a violation. A complex matter may require additional time, but urgent protective action need not wait for final resolution.

4. Requests from depicted persons

Any person depicted in an image, video, audio recording, or synthetic likeness may ask us to remove it by emailing [email protected].

Once a depicted-person request is triggered, we will use a reasonable process to assess identity and whether valid consent covered creation, upload, public distribution, and downloading where applicable.

We will remove the content immediately if:

  • required consent cannot be established;
  • the depicted person demonstrates that consent is void under applicable law;
  • the content materially exceeds the scope of consent; or
  • another law or policy requires removal.

We will not require a depicted person to contact the uploader first.

5. Appeals and neutral review

A reporter, depicted person, or affected member may ask us to reconsider a decision by replying to the decision notice or emailing [email protected] with the relevant reference and new information.

A person not involved in the original decision will review the appeal when reasonably practicable. Content may remain restricted during review.

If we disagree with a depicted person's claim that consent is void under applicable law, we will make a neutral review process available at our expense where card-network rules require it. Details will depend on the location and nature of the dispute. This process does not prevent a person from contacting law enforcement, a regulator, or a court.

6. Privacy and records

We limit disclosure of a reporter's identity to what is reasonably necessary for investigation, safety, legal process, or a fair response. We may preserve the report, content identifiers, decision, consent evidence, communications, and action taken for safety, repeat-abuse, legal, and payment-network compliance.

Do not retaliate against a reporter or depicted person. Retaliation may result in account action.

7. Other reporting paths
