Turtle Lake Resort is a Clothing Optional Resort centrally located in south central Michigan roughly half way between Battle Creek to the North and Coldwater to the South but there’s a lot more to the story.

Turtle Lake Resort began in the 1980’s as a conventional campground with some upscale features. Over a period of years, it passed through a number of hands becoming, along the way a clothing optional facility. The details of its evolution from its beginning up to November, 2003 are not important anymore because it is on that date that Turtle Lake Resort began its transition to what it is today; The Midwest’s Premier Clothing Optional Resort.

What is so important about the date of November, 2003? That date is the date that Turtle Lake Resort was purchased by its present owners. Starting on that date and continuing to this day and going forward into the future, the owners of the Resort have driven Turtle Lake Resort to its ranking as one of the very best clothing optional destinations in the country.

During the warmer months, Turtle Lake Resort maintains a full schedule of activities including our nationally known Music Fest. Our spacious grounds featuring a private nude beach on Turtle Lake as well as an outdoor pool, offer our patrons a truly “premier” environment for the enjoyment of the clothing free lifestyle. During the cooler months visitors may enjoy our indoor heated pool and hot tub. We maintain our activity calendar during these months as well. The Turtle Lake Resort New Year’s Eve and Halloween Parties are “not to be missed” events.
