About

Nestled deep in the rugged Fraser Valley near Dewdney, Norrish Creek offers an authentic, off-the-grid escape for clothing-optional enthusiasts seeking pure mountain tranquility. Unlike bustling urban beaches, Norrish Creek is a hidden gem defined by its crisp, glacier-fed waters, sun-warmed river rocks, and towering rainforest canopy.

Here, the rhythm of the rushing creek replaces the noise of the city. Whether you're looking to stretch out on smooth gravel bars, dip into refreshing natural swimming holes, or simply soak in the British Columbia sunshine in your natural state, Norrish Creek offers a peaceful, community-respecting haven where nature and personal freedom meet.

Directions from Vancouver / Lower Mainland

  1. Drive East on Lougheed Highway (Highway 7):

    • Take Highway 7 East through Maple Ridge and past Mission towards the community of Dewdney.

  2. Turn onto Hawkins Pickle Road:

    • After crossing the Nicomen Slough area near Dewdney, turn left (north) onto Hawkins Pickle Road.

  3. Follow Hawkins Pickle Road to the Creek:

    • Drive along Hawkins Pickle Road as it heads toward the base of the mountains and leads up to the Norrish Creek Forest Service Road (FSR).

  4. Park near the Bridge/Lower Access:

    • Park in designated pull-offs or near the lower bridge area before entering gated forestry/utility zones.

  5. Walk the Trail on the East Bank:

Tip: Cell service can be spotty once you get close to the mountains, so save off-line map directions before heading out. Respect local forest regulations, pack out all garbage, and take note of any fire bans or active logging gate rules.
