The Good

• Secluded Yet Accessible: Nestled at the end of Hawkins Pickle Road in Mission, BC, Norrish Creek offers a mix of seclusion without being completely isolated. It's a sweet spot for those nudists who appreciate a bit of privacy without feeling too cut off from the world.

• Well-Maintained Area: Thanks to the Fraser Valley Naturists, the area around Norrish Creek is well groomed, featuring a fire pit, campsites, and trails leading to the river. It's clear there's a community that cares for and respects this space, making it welcoming for newcomers.

• Police-Aware and Respected Clothing Optional Zone: It's comforting to know that the local police are aware of and respect the clothing optional nature of the area. This understanding likely contributes to the respectful atmosphere among visitors.

• Natural Beauty and Serenity: The creek, with its rocky riverbed and seasonal water flow, offers a tranquil setting that's perfect for a day of sunbathing and relaxation away from the busier nude beaches.

The Bad

• Not Always a Nudist Majority: Depending on the day and time, you might find that clothed visitors outnumber nudists. This can be a bit intimidating for those who prefer to be among a majority of fellow naturists, as it might influence your comfort level with disrobing.

• Rocky Terrain: The creek bed is rocky, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for those looking for sandy shores. While there are sandy spots near the campsites, the walk to the water can be a bit rugged.

• Variable Water Levels: Since the creek's flow can vary significantly with the seasons, access to the water might require a bit of a trek at certain times of the year. This fluctuation can affect the ease of swimming and lounging by the water's edge.

• Mixed Company Near the Water: On our first visit, the proximity to clothed males made it a tad uncomfortable to fully embrace the nudist experience, at least by the water. It's a clothing-optional area, so expect a mix of nude and non-nude visitors, which might not suit everyone's preference for a nudist outing.
