  • Dangerous Train Tracks The beach is located just below two sets of train tracks, which can be very dangerous to cross. Trains pass frequently, and there is a risk of being fined by railway police. They are also known to stop on this section of track for hours at a time.

  • Pebbly Beach The beach is made mainly of small pebbles and rocks, which may not be comfortable for everyone. The streams along the beach can also cause a buildup of slime on the rocks, creating slipping hazards.

  • Lack of Amenities There are no amenities such as toilets or food vendors, so come prepared with everything you need for the day.

  • Boaters Passing Close Boaters pass by very close to the beach on a regular basis, which can be intrusive if you are seeking a more private experience.

  • Seasonal Shoreline Be prepared for limited shoreline during melt in early summer. The beach is much wider towards the end of summer or early fall
